As financed by the European Commission, and within the Life Natura 2000 project “Forests with the Black Pine of Banat” an information point and a visitor center was established. At this information point, it is possible for visitors to receive general information regarding the Domogled Cerna-Valley National Park, details on the above mentioned Natura 2000 project, and knowledge concerning the use of the park’s hiking trails.
The information point is situated upstream from the Baile Herculane spa, in the “7 Spring” and “Porumbu nou” camping areas. People traveling in or within the vicinity of the national park during the summer holidays, can find information about the natural protected area here.
Both locations – information point and visitor center – are equipped with info-kiosks with the purpose of supplying more detailed park information to tourist.
